Hope everyone enjoyed it. Some thoughts for those that want to create similar shots:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=971\">People<\/a> are <a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=958\">awesome<\/a>. Generally, they don&#8217;t bite; go talk to them. Find out a bit about them. Ask to take their picture.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=963\">Experiment<\/a>, be <a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=949\">creative about the limitations<\/a> of the scene in front of you, and let yourself make mistakes.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=946\">Stop<\/a>on the <a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=957\">side of the road<\/a> occasionally and see what&#8217;s out there.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=945\">Get up early<\/a> or <a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=966\">stay up late<\/a>. There&#8217;s awesome lighting at dusk and dawn, and these are the sort of shots you don&#8217;t see as often. <a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=972\">Nighttime is good<\/a>, too.<\/li>\n<li>When shooting sunrise shots, don&#8217;t just shoot at the sun. Take the longest lens you&#8217;ve got and look 10 to 40 degrees off-axis for an <a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=945\">interesting horizon<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=952\">Be<\/a> <a href=\"potd-detail.cgi?EID=951\">patient<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well, that&#8217;s finally it &#8211; the end of my Scotland series.
