Something about the way the water was travelling over this stick attracted me.
There is actually a person in this shot, although it’s hard to find him at this resolution. Steve, one of the Philly Photobloggers, is hiding on the left side of the bridge.
The waterfalls at Ricketts Glen were phenomenal this visit. The water level was high, turning the paths into small streams.
I love long exposure night shots, but rarely have the opportunity to pull them off. This one, shot while waiting for some Philly Photobloggers to show up at Ricketts Glen, worked reasonably well.
Over the weekend we went up to Ricketts Glen for a sparsely-attended Philly Photobloggers event. The conditions were almost perfect, and I’ll be posting a number of them over the next few days. Those that like my nature work should be happy.

I’m glad to know that this safety cone is not a bike, and that I should not lock one to it. Phew, that’s a load off my mind.
Outside 30th St. Station. I think this is old glue; I have a vague recollection that something was mounted here years ago.
I’ve been trying to get a shot of the new Comcast Center (pictured center, with cranes around it) for some time. The dramatic shadow forced me to take this shot, even though it has nothing to do with the Comcast Center.

More apologies, too: my primary computer is out for repairs, so I’m working somewhat crippled. Hopefully I’ll be able to process some of the shots sitting and waiting (rather than posting more crud, which I’m trying to stop), but it’ll be rougher than normal.
