I can imagine this shot as an album cover for Pink Floyd. Great shot.

First thought this was a legion of robots, with their heads peering in slightly different directions. Awesome picture!
Glad everyone likes this! I think this was the only shot of the tubes that came out. I need a better tripod; mine apparently can’t handle the weight of the camera for long exposures.
Many of the tubes are of type 6SN7.
pws should know — he’s something of an expert on the subject. I think this picture is not of 6SN7 tubes, as these have some sort of ceramic fixture on top. (Other shots I’ve got have lots of what I believe are 6SN7 tubes.) But perhaps I’m wrong.
Boy, this really takes this geek back. They certainly don’t build ’em like this anymore. Where did you have access to an Eniac?
