Serendipity
A week and a half ago, Septa (the local public transportation agency, which I rely on to get to and from work) lost all power to the commuter trains. As luck would have it I was actually at a station when it happened, so I had the opportunity to get off of the train — unlike the poor folks that were stuck between stops, and had to wait it out. I made the best of it and went out to dinner, listening to the Septa radio channel while I ate (see, carrying around radio gear has an actual use). When the trains were starting to run again, I walked back up to the train station… and happened across this shot.
I like the glowing on the edges of this. Really wonderful capture on that.

The lighting from the building (which is currently a bank, I believe) is pretty nifty.
