I love fast-moving summer showers, like the one that blew through today. The eastern sky was lovely and dark, while the sun had just broken through the clouds in the west.

Update: I didn’t like the way it came out, so I did some more layer-and-mask tricks to evoke more of what I remember seeing. Since I mistakenly shot this at ISO 200, there’s a lot of digital noise that’s being brought out in the low-quality thumbnail (that is, the one on this page).
