Commonwealth
Having moved to my new laptop, I’ve rediscovered some of the shots in my archives waiting to be posted. I’ve decided not to post the ones that are obviously out-of-season, but this one was just begging for its turn.
This is the facade of the newly remodeled Commonwealth Hall on Drexel’s campus. I don’t know if it’s still called Commonwealth or if it has been totally swallowed by Bossone.
I still can’t understand why Drexel doesn’t have some token orange brick in the new buildings.
I like the lines in this shot, Jorj. That orange really stands out.
SusieJ: I like the orange, but that probably has something to do with having “grown up” with it.
Dawn: thanks, that’s what drew me to it. These are replacement windows which are in keeping with the original feel of the building, but the lines are much more pronounced than they used to be. I believe I shot this a couple of days after they were finished the renovations.
Its amazing that you can make this building (and Drexel) look so good 🙂

Thanks Dan.
And to follow up, it looks like Commonwealth did lose its name (the “Commonwealth” lettering over the door has been pried off), so this must now be Bossone.
