I spent 15 minutes this morning trying to shoot dragonflies. Of course, on the way home I happened across one just sitting and posing for me — luckily I had the camera already out, and managed to get a shot before he took off again!

I like the contrast of the blurry twig and the sharpness of the dragonfly. The composition is very zen like.
great shot! hard to capture those litte buggers. i used to catch them when i spent a summer in korea. they’d just sit on our hands, sunning.
