Shelter
I’m noticing that a lot of the shots I take have little or no color in them. I wonder if that’s my eye or the time of year — or a combination thereof.
We went out to shoot earlier today, but I took very few pictures and I’m not really happy with the shots I’ve got. I dug this one out of my archives instead.
It’s not quite the shot I’d like. This was just a fortuitous shot out the window of the train on the way home from work; with a different lens or the ability to move closer to the subject, I would have framed it differently.
I quite like the framing of this shot and the B&W suits the composition very well I think. I am looking forward to seeing more of your photographs!
Cameron: Thanks! The end result isn’t bad, but I did have to crop it to get the framing you see (complete with pincushioning). I would rather have had the framing better (and squarer) to beign with. Keep stopping by, I’ll keep posting.
fantastic picture. really sums up city living for me
Daniel: Thanks for the feedback!
