Not Lost, But Forgotten
I’ve just spent a weekend with my aunt, sorting and mostly discarding a lifetime of stuff that my grandfather saved. Some wonderful insights were gained into the character of my grandfather, buried in the depths of innumerable professional publications and research notes from his studies at Penn and subsequent careers. The title of this work reflects upon my grandfather’s saved boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes AND boxes and boxes and boxes of facts. Had he lost them instead of forgetting about them we might not have had the unenviable task of chucking it all into a dumpster or fireplace this weekend.
Yeah, I’m with Sue on this one. I think there’s too much “nothing” in the second – if you cropped the entire left side it might be more interesting
I’d like to support my Ami-Mammi, for the reason mentioned by Steve.
