Dead Tired
I didn’t mean to miss yesterday’s photo. Today was the Philly Photobloggers meeting in Centralia, and I spent the night in Fracksville instead of leaving home at 4 AM. Trouble was I had no GPRS (cellular data) coverage.
Anyway, the photo shoot today was a lot of fun. Some of us started around 6 AM; I was really exhausted by the time we finished the day. Shown here are some of the other photobloggers, all convinced to lie down in Centralia next to a steamy coal mine fire fissure in the old road.
where “steamy” is really toxic mine fire gas ๐
I like the darkness of it all. that’s what the day _should_ have looked like. cool ๐
That did turn out pretty cool. (I’m processing all mine to look like they _should_ as well, ha ha)
Hahahahhahahahha… I love it, Jorj! It was a pleasure to pass out for you. ๐
Geoff, you should know the contents of that gas better than anyone else! In fact, Eric’s first shot on his site is of you standing in the thick of it.
Kathleen, thanks for helping to rally the troops for this shot! ๐ I’ll be posting the rest of my series this week; your Wedgewood china just went up.
That was a great day. I’ve come back to look at this photo every day; it still “cracks” me up. I really like how you processed it.
