Scarface
I’m getting this on the website a little late. Everyone in our house crashed early last night, as we’re fighting a cold.
This shot took some work, as my perspective wasn’t perfectly straight-on. The left edge had a distinct lean to it, along with some slight barrel distortion from the wide angle shot. I had to finally install the panorama tools that I’ve been reading about and figure out how to use them to correct the image.
Aw, man – you gave away the ending!
Seriously – any chance that we could see the unprocessed shot? I’d like to see what magic you’ve performed to get this result.
Okay Steve, I’ve just added the original.
Wow, that’s some funky curvature. Thanks for reminding me why I don’t shoot with zooms. Or don’t shoot brick walls. Or don’t shoot brick walls with zooms. Or something like that…
Or maybe it’s because 99% of my shots in the last 3+ years have been of my kids?
