Now you’re talking. Definitely one of your most captivating POTD shots in some time, at least to my eye.
Given all the straight lines I find the tilt a little distracting, but otherwise I love it. The fading sky really makes it.
Thanks Mark. Honestly I didn’t notice the tilt (must have been tired last night). I’ll see about a straightened version and see if I like it any better.
You must’ve been REALLY tired. I’m tired today and I noticed the tilt. The 2nd one looks about right.
Great shot!
Thanks, I do like that better, but I think the real issue is that the camera was also pointed slightly downwards. You’re right about losing the light on the far right, but I think that’s a lesser evil than the tilt.
Damn, you made Drexel look good. Maybe that’s the problem. Whoever is taking pictures of the campus and showing them to the powers that be is using too good a camera.
Mark, I like the down angle. Knowing what’s there at the vanishing point (a dumping off point from 676), I’d rather look at the plants.
That is one UGLY corner of campus.
Well, I have to be tired too because I didn’t notice a difference between the two frames for a while. But it was fun having my head go up and down for a few minutes…
