Seems that my thumbnail generator is generating fuzzy thumbnails for these B&W shots. I’m not sure why, and I’m not bothering to look in to it at the moment. You’ll have to go check out the “larger” shots (added just for Kathleen).

Update, 5/29/08: the thumbnail generator was based on ImageMagick for resizing, and GD for adding labels. GD doesn’t resize well (very lossy images), and ImageMagick resizes well as long as it’s a color image; greyscale images appear to come out blurry. I’ve just written a replacement based on libAfterImage, which seems to work pretty well, so the fuzzy thumbnails should be clear again.
