I saw a red-tailed hawk today, which is the second in a week. And both times I didn’t have my camera with me. Bad photographer! So I’m wondering if the local red-tailed hawk population is increasing (that’s 2 in a week, but 4 in 3 years) or if I’m just noticing it more because I’m on the lookout for good photos.

Anyway: this one comes from my archives, as my new photos are entirely of Jake. I’d post one of them if I actually ahd time to process them but new parenthood means that I remember that I wanted to post a picture-of-the-day shortly before the day ends…
