I had an outstanding day for photos yesterday; I have five or six that I really like. I thought I had just lost time and energy to take good photos for a while, but it seems that it’s more a question of subject matter. I took a walk into West Philly to meet a good friend for lunch, and quite a few shots came from it.

This sculpture is on the front/side of a Lutheran church on Penn’s campus. I was trying to take a shot that made the birds look more plausible (metal riveted on to brick just doesn’t do it for me). How’d I do?
