I find myself running out of shots again — I guess I need to see what Tobi has put on the camera since I last looked. Since I’m not walking around with my Digital Rebel, I’m walking around with a friend’s Rebel GII. Which means, of course, slower turnaround to shots on the website, so I’m raiding my archives once again.
I’m pretty sure I could do a better job of bringing out the colors in this shot, but I’m out of time and energy for the night. Perhaps I’ll see what I can do tomorrow…
I like the color contrast of the rust against the blue, and how it is bordered by the light colored pipe on the right and the dark vertical shadow on the left. You do dig that closeup lens, don’t you? 🙂

Suz: yes, I sure do dig the telephoto and macro adapters. Now I just need a real macro lens instead of trying to fake it. Just what I need: more camera gear. 🙂

Chain ands padlocks – some of my favourite subject matter. Well composed shot. Would like perhaps a tiny but more depth of field to bring the nearest section of chain links more in focus.
