Lines
I’m finally getting to the post-processing of shots from a month ago. I’ll spare everyone the magnolia trees and will instead treat you to a fascinating combination of lines and angles. At least I hope it’s a treat.
This is Drexel’s latest building, which I must admit looks quite nice. Word on the street is that it’s going to be an environmental nightmare, and hasn’t been built to last. But for now it makes great photographic material.
And I’ve just realized why I like it so much! The blinds’ shadows make this look like an old “moving optical illusion” — the kind where you move some sort of transparency over the original to produce the motion. And if I could find one of them on the web right now, I’d post a link…
Great shot of this structure. I like the shadows.
i like it!
these structures look pretty good in photographies 😉
Way cool photo! What’s the name of this building and where is it?
I like this. I really like the lines.
Thanks, all. This is the Bossone Research Enterprise Center. Half of it used to be Commonwealth, and the other half used to be the green outside Commonwealth (with the odd sculpture — or did that go in after you left, Steve?). Drexel.edu’s front page is currently featuring shots of this building and touting its opening.
