I’m posting this shot, which was taken at 30th Street Station while waiting for the train last month, in honor of SEPTA (the local public transportation company)… who just made me an hour and a half late due to a “massive power failure” on all of their lines right at the end of rush hour.
Good thing I had a radio with me that receives their train chatter. I left the train at 7, went into center city, had a nice dinner at a restaurant downtown, and then went back to the trains when it sounded like they were moving again. But still, I’m annoyed.
she stands out so much she almost looks like she is in 3d
I like what you did to the background. Shes very into what shes reading…Also if you could try visitng my page and leaving a comment I would love to get some insight from you!
Thinker: it’s the two different sets of lighting. 30th St. Station has a great overhead metal-and-glass awning (visible in one of my other shots… aah, number 38, “Skyward”) which can do great things for lighting. In this one, the setting sun was diffusing through the glass much differently than it was hitting the buildings across the street.
Patty: it’s the lighting, plus the large aperture. And no sooner said than done (although I’m having issues getting your comments pages to show up in Firefox reliably). Great shots of Danielle!
