Christmas Proposal
I went downtown today for the lighting of the Rittenhouse Square tree, and came away with a shot I hadn’t expected. The guy pictured (whose name I don’t know, but will soon, as he’ll want to collect some photos from me) aksed if I would take a picture — and on the second shot, I was very slyly informed, he was going to propose to his girlfriend. Well, his camera was broken, so I wound up taking the shot with my camera. And the flash’s batteries died exactly one flash after I took this shot.
Update: I’ve slightly re-curved this (upped the contrast a bit) based on tonybleurgh’s comment. The previous version is here in case you’re interested in seeing it.
Update 2: Their names are Mandie and John. Congrats, folks!
hahaha how romantic!!! great story.
I think it´s still overexposed, despite the processing 🙂 Nice story anyway…
Never let it be said I don’t listen to what people say. 😉 Looking at it with fresh eyes this morning and reading tonybleurgh’s comment, I decided to touch it a little more. It’s not much of a change, but I think the increased contrast suits it better.
Looks better!
