Dali
I snapped this from the hip last Friday, set for whatever the previous picture had been. I’m afraid that this is the best that I can clean it up. I’ll be entering this one in PhotoFriday’s “Signs”.
Thanks to everyone that commented on the Cemetery series. It was nice to hear which shots people preferred and why; that’s the sort of feedback that I’m looking for (and is why I’ve got the photoblog). Keep it coming!
Pity you cropped the shot – it feels as thought something is missing – but nevertheless a great strong image. I like the way the passser by is so close to Dali’s face yet ignores the image. Well done. T
Amazing
Brita: this is more or less the image I would have gotten around 45mm; the picture was taken at 18mm. That’s the problem with off-the-hip photography… you take the shot however the camera is currently set. ๐
Edison: thanks!
I love this shot, and in particular I love the angle of it. The grain adds to it’s character ๐
Leigh: I’m glad to hear someone comment specifically on the grain. I don’t like it, but I think that’s mostly because it’s not how I saw it or intended it, rather than it being bad.
what a creepy shot. i love it.
dali is a genius.
