Bird at Dusk
I find myself wondering where to find the animals that don’t migrate. Alley cats, for example. Or the pigeons and whatever these small birds are, which you see at lunch time around the lunch trucks. Well, found some of them today — high atop a tree, very much exposed to the wind. I thought for sure they’d have nests that were in the nook of a building, or under a roofline, or some such. But there they were, just sitting.
Beautiful picture. I love the depth of field, specifically how the branches to the right remain in focus, but as you move left they fall out. But the contrast with the tree trunk to the far left brings it back into definition. The lone bird is also powerful.
Once again, beautiful shot!
