Rust Flame
Strangely, with a newborn in the house, a kitchen renovation that’s not done, and family stopping by for (welcome) visits, I haven’t had much time to photograph anything that’s not Jake. And while I’m sure more baby pictures will wind up here, I’m going to try to spare my “regular” viewers the agony of having the blog turn into a “look at my cute baby!” site, as much as that’s what I want to do. ๐
This is part of the bridge that crosses over the Jenkintown train station near my house, taken on New Years’ Day. We were on our way downtown to visit friends during the Mummers’ parade.
i like the muted subtle tones of the image. its a touch dark but works well for the image i like it.
Baby pictures are good, too. ๐ I like this. Stark and full of promise.
I like how the rust is so pronounced……..eating upward. Great pic!
I wouldn’t mind some baby pics btw.
Dawn and Paula: be careful what you ask for, you may get more baby pictures than you want. ๐ There will be some shots of Jake coming up, as I just can’t resist (naturally).
Thanks for the comments, all. I’m going to try to re-shoot this later to lighten it up a bit. That goes into the pile of “take this one again and see if you can do better”…
wow, this is really nice. love the texture and colors here. oxidizing flames. excellent.
