More Grand Canyon in the Snow. This is the view nearly straight down, by the outcropping yesterday. The way the canyon wall curves around the outcropping, with increased fog density as you move away from the canyon wall, pulls me in like a giant drain. The piece of the fence gives away just how much fish-eye the 16mm lens is adding, but I think it adds to the picture – a cage for the humans, as it were, keeping them away from this deep whirpool.
